Lili was a member of a “Hashomer Hatzair” ken in Újvidék (Novi Sad). At the onset of the Hungarian invasion of the area she took part in the organization of activities against Hungarian occupation and in sabotage groups. On 20.9.1941 Lili was caught by the Hungarian gendarmerie while carrying a weapon, judged in a military court and publicly hanged in Újvidék.
